3.26.2009

Hey, well this is me being bored.

I finally told my mom that I am gay. She took it very well. It wasn't as scary as I expected. I told her to tell my dad so that he could come to me with his questions, and I wouldn't have to go to him, because I suck at starting conversations.

I have a twitter. I've had one for a while, but basically I'm just mentioning it now before I forget again. My user name is riku92238.
I also have a daily booth. I just got it today, so there are no pictures seeing as I'm using one of the school computers without a webcam. I think that Twitter and Daily booth are under the same company because of the design, but that's just me blabbering. Anyway, my user name for DailyBooth is the same as my Twitter user name, so you can look me ups.

OMYGOODNESSTOGODNEESS! I almost forgot. phewf... My sister turned eleven today. Happy birthday sister dearest.

Breaking Dawn Concert Series

Just yesterday, I atended the Breaking Dawn Concert Series: LA. Justin Furstenfeld, the lead singer for the band Blue October was there because he is Stephenie Meyer's favorite preformer and Blue October is probably her favorite band. He played a few songs, then Stephenie Meyer was called out to answer some questions, and then Just and Stephenie shared the stage. As some of you who are familiar with Stephanie Meyer's website, you know she does personal playlists for her books. Well Blue October is subject to alot of her playlists, so Justin played the songs from Blue October that Stephenie had on her playlist.
After that, we got in line to get our books signed by Stephanie Meyer, so I now have Breaking Dawn signed!!! ^_^
While waiting in the line, me and my friend met some girls who were really nice and we had some fun conversations.

History behind "Adri"

Well I am a christian. Now at my church (and many other churches) we have this thing for teenagers called "Conformation". It's pretty much a series of classes to become closer to God and become true "members" of the church. At the end of the whole thing there's something called Conformation Camp; where most of the churches send their group to have fun, learn some more, and meet new people.

ANYWAY... There was this girl in my cabin named Lauren. She was a few years older than me, but we connected easily. Soon we were joint at the hip. She was my best friend at camp.

Now Lauren was writing a vampire story (considering I'm obsessed with vampires, does it surprise you that I was overly interested?) and there were two main characters.

Winter was a vampire. He was good friends with a human girl named..... Adri. (Well how else was this story going to go?)

Lauren and I talked about her story a lot and when she paid attention, she realized that I reminded her of Adri. Well when I paid attention, I realized that she reminded me of a female Winter.

After that, we didn't call each other by our real names. It was always Adri and Winter.

To tell you the truth, I accidentally almost forgot her real name... but no worries.
